I have had leisure to read this case most attentively... I am much obliged to the Chief Magistrate for the great pains he has taken in the investigation, and I entirely approve of all that has been done.

With regard to the disposal of the prisoners, I should be obliged to withhold my sanction to the Chief Magistrate's suggestion that the Prisoners Law, Stow, and Wonguishe, (the principals) should be forwarded to Sunson for trial.
